Plastered all over the Paris subway system are huge purplish red advertisements for an international internet dating site for extraconjugal affairs. With a photo of an apple, bitten into, the major pitch lines are the bold and audacious proclamations ” Être fidèle à deux hommes, c’est être deux fois plus fidèle”. That translates out that women who are “faithful” to two men are therefore two times more “faithful”. Wow, what a twist on words here!
This internet dating site is persuasively said to be designed by and for married women to spice up their marriage. But, this just does not pan out to be true. Not surprising this offensive idea was cooked up and created by two Frenchies, brothers no least! They claim they are just cashing in on married partners that already comprise a certain percentage of internet dating sites. Apparently the bucks and euros are rolling in as advertising in the Paris metro does not come cheap! This seemingly DSK inspired adventure goes on ludicrously glorify infidelity and make it seen as normal as apple pie. Basically the theme is that infidelity can not only “pimenter” or add spice to your marriage, but even save it from boredom. According to their website, they invite men to have a little fling or a “naughty thrill” with married women. Men are encouraged to cultivate a “secret garden”. I found it laughable that they outlandishly mention how “integrity” is the foundation for their work, yet the major theme is encouraging women to be dishonest in their marriages. Women are encouraged to be honest about their marital status, but yet apparently there is no comprehension that cheating on a spouse reeks from lack of integrity!
Women can sign up for free, but men have to pay for the privileges of searching out these delectably dishonest women. Women do not show their photos until they desire to, and only when they feel their pursuer has gained their “trust” . Boy, I see now how this might pump up the volume of paranoia in some men convinced that their wives are hiding behind these anonymous profiles.
Reportedly 68% of married women registered on their site, felt an affair was the “secret” to their marriages longevity. Oh really? I don’t think a lot of men would agree. Men may have sexual fantasies of a “menage a trois” with another women, but when the table is turned, it can messy in more ways than one.
The site goes on to debunk the negative “myths” of infidelity, seeing adultery as a panacea of sorts for all ills of a couple. I just loved their declaration that extraconjugal affairs will leave you fulfilled and you can bring home your “contagious happiness”. How strange that in 28 years of practice I have never met a betrayed spouse come in filled with such contagious happiness! Explosive anger, hair pulling, spitting, screaming, hitting, and threats of death, are what I have usually seen and the list goes on!
I am no prude and if a couple are both reciprocal to an open marriage, so be it, except that open marriage or couples rarely works out. Human beings are by nature possessive and jealous, which eventually interplays into these sort of arrangements. There are plenty of “swinging”clubs in Paris, called “échangistes”, so obviously there is a market.
Deception, though is another game and dangerous at best. Promoting it under the guise of offering multiple benefits to a marriage is just outrageously misleading and false. Those little secret gardens are more of a minefield, just waiting to be exploded.

Sounds like bad risky business .
Playing with fire y’all probably get burn!
I certainly agree with getting burned and tar and feathered too! There is already here in France a petition to prevent them for advertising in the subway, but here in France seems like anything goes.
This is outrageous. What metro line did you see these signs in? I have not noticed these? When were they put up? How utterly awful. Actually these two brothers are cashing in on something that has been done for centuries in France, infidelity with the only exception being that in old times, it was only the men who had mistresses and not the other way around. In any case, it is disgusting and I dont think the people who control what gets put up in the metro should let this kind of advertisement be allowed.
Thank you Serena!! I too found it very disgusting to encourage adultery so blatantly. This is not the first time I have seen their outrageous publicity. I saw it on line 4, but it is everywhere since around the 18 or 20th of June. I will provide a link on facebook with their previous sick advertisements. Hugs to you.
